Saw some social media post about the $10 meal from this cafe. I ordered the laksa. The broth is delicious and the taste is quite authentic. Perhaps it’s under the $10 meal category, the ingredients are very limited, you are mainly paying for the noodles. Compared with another cafe in the Eastern suburb where they have similar $10 meal, the portion from the other shop seems to be more balanced. If you want some cheap meal at $10, you can come and try.

Cheapest Malaysian in Melbourne that I have found and tried. Fast service, double-colour toned interior, woody restaurant feel, fatty creamy spicy aroma from the food - couldn’t get any more authentic than this!
$10 for classics such as Kolo Mee, Char Kway Teow, Nasi Lemak, Hainanese Chicken Rice done just like the way we had it in Malaysia. Having travelled to Penang, the quality is almost similar. Penang White Curry Mee brought me back to the one I had near Air Siam temple in Penang. Rice dishes are better than their noodles, as I found the CKT & Kolo Mee lacking flavour. Love the chicken of both the curry chicken in the NasiLemak & Hainanese Chicken Rice. Sauce is super delicious, but the fragrant rice for both dishes were surprisingly better.
Definitely could do more meat for the Kolo Mee, and a bit more consistent meat would be great.
Even their teh tarik was perfect! My new go-to spot for Malaysian cuisine, I don’t have to go anywhere else for this hearty harmonious flavoured meal!

I was truly impressed by the crispy pork fried rice. Additionally, the price is incredibly reasonable, making it feel like a great value. The staff’s attitude was excellent.
I’m eager to try different dishes on the menu next time! With so many tempting options!

Been here multiple times and it never disappoints. Bang for your buck on all dishes. Highly recommend the hainese chicken, fish fillet curry and fried squid tentacles (not pictured).

Definitely a bang for your buck! Kopitiam styled food and atmosphere. We had the Traditional Kolo Mee, Penang Noodles, Char Kueh Teow, Braised Pork with Rice and Vinegar Pork with Rice. Decent food for a decent price. Would definitely be back for more!
