So happy they opened a branch in the West that's so close to my place. Menu seems bigger than the other branches too.
Google map position isn't accurate though. It's actually behind the subway and you have to enter the carpark from a different entrance.
Kolo mee was respectable. Generous with pork lard and noodles were chewy and bouncy enough although slightly less than the Glen Waverley branch. Even had green picked chilli which is rare in Melbourne. Sambal was ok. Slightly oily but had enough flavour although a little on sweet side for me.
Will update when I've tried more dishes. Lo Bak is minced rather than fillet though.

Tried the basic nasi lemak for $6.90 and Curry chee cheong fun. Rice was fragrant enough and not wet. Could be saltier. Sambal was right taste with onions but needed more of it since there was quite a bit of rice. Added the sambal they provided at the counter and made it spicier but it changed the taste profile. Ikan bilis and kacang were crunchy. Almost as good as MKS Epping in texture but not quite there in flavour and spice. Never been a fan of boiled eggs with nasi lemak as well.
Chee cheong fun was surprisingly good. Delicate slippery and curry was spicy. Only had fish balls and some kind of fish based taopok though so the other $10 dishes have better value. Still it's a very good specimen if you like the dish

Penang white curry mee was average. Hokkien noodles were starchy and soft in texture. Ingredients were sparse compared to menu photos. Sauce was ok with curry mee flavours. Pork noodles dry had lots of meat. Soup was very tasty and a bit sweet so had lots of msg. Kuay tiow noodles were a little bit too soggy for my liking.
Update 071224
Curry chee cheong fun was not as silky as last time. Larger pieces was a bit hard in the middle. But fish balls were crispier this time. Chicken rice was respectable but not amazing. Rice was very fragrant and tasty. Lots of chicken with lots of garlic oil but some pieces were drier and tougher. With the chilli sauce was a bit better. Saturday 1pm there were lots of people and takeaway orders. Kitchen was a bit hectic and struggling with a slightly slower service. Sounded like there may be new staff.

Great value, delicious $10 options. So happy they’re finally open here in the North West. I got Kolo Mee, Nasi Lemak with Chicken Curry and Hainanese Chicken Rice. Kolo Mee is a great comfort food, although nasi lemak has to be my favourite with generous protein (egg and chicken). Love that they are open until 9pm on weekdays as it is a perfect take-away emergency. Cashier was very friendly and lovely too!

The Singapore Hokkien Mee is so good 😋With 3 prawns, tender pieces of sotong, fish cake, pork slices and even fried pork lard. All for just $15.50. Kolo Mee only $10 and there are bits of pork lard too, plus big portion of noodle with QQ texture. Love it ♥️ There are many other $10 dishes on the menu. This restaurant is newly renovated with nice bathroom, ample seating outdoors if you can’t get a table indoors. So what are you waiting for ? Come here quickly to savour this hidden gem in the West !

Went there for lunch today.
Ordered the Singapore hokkien mee...
It was served in a large oval plate enough for two people to share
but as i was hungry i ate it all.
Generous serving and the sambal is a must.
Overall very satisfied and tasty.
Great Job guys!!
Gets busy around 12pm, lunch time and ample dining oustide if you can tahan the heat.

So happy finally there’s a Malaysian restaurant nearby! Came here probably 7 to 8 times since they are opened and have tried almost all their items. Here’s my honest review on this place.
For the price, the food is amazing. Doesn’t really have anything to complain about. Where can you get a meal for $10 in Melbourne in 2024?!?!?!!
The highlights for me are their stir fried items. Have to try their Penang stir fried noodle… one bite and I’m in Malaysia! Hor fun and kuetiaw also really good! Congee is really delicious! Hainanese chicken rice, Kolo mee also very good and must order items! Pork noodle soup tasted like childhood and the fish head noodle soup are 8/10!
Some items that I think need a little bit of tweaks are their cheong fan, chicken curry and Penang white laksa… just need a little bit more kick to make it outstanding.
Shoutout to the front of house. It doesn’t look like they have a lot of experience, but they have done an amazing job dealing with a tsunami of customers. Well done!
But overall, it’s a 9/10 for me. With that price, I don’t have to cook ever again!
